Dave Swanson
Dave began offering professional baseball instruction in 2002 after an 11-year professional career which included stops with the minor league affiliates of the N.Y. Mets, Colorado Rockies, and Boston Red Sox organizations. He played with and for some of the best in baseball, including NY Mets pitcher Jason Isringhausen and Colorado Rockies 1B Todd Helton, along with current Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington, among several others.
Along with his year-round baseball instruction he has also produced the K-ZONE the past eight seasons for ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball where he has had the opportunity to work alongside two of baseball’s best in Bobby Valentine and Orel Hershiser, SNB’s on-air analysts.
In addition to SPBI and SNB Dave has been the pitching coach for the Northwest Catholic High School baseball team for the past eight years.

Ryan Radmanovich (Pepperdine University)
F
ormer Major Leaguer with the Seattle Mariners (1998-99); spent time with Twins, Padres, Pirates and Mariners organizations; former member of 2004 & 2008 Canadian Olympic Teams. Radmanovich also produces K-Zone games for ESPN’s Wednesday Night Baseball, and coaches Swanson’s 15U summer travel team, the Senior CT Tides.

Ryan DiPietro (Eastern Connecticut State University)
Former LH pitcher with the Kansas City Royals organization, and All-American while at Eastern: currently pitching for Alexandria of the Texas Louisiana League.

Mike Perry (Post University)
Mike is a former RH pitcher and current GM with SPBI. Along with his daily work as GM, he also works as one of SPBI’s top pitching instructors, along with coaching Swanson’s summer travel teams.

Steve Gentile (Mitchell College)
Former four-year collegiate outfielder: had worked with SPBI since 2005. Gentile’s brother Scott played seven professional seasons with the Montreal Expos, Detroit Tigers, and Baltimore Orioles organizations.

Kyle Brown (Ohio State)
Four-year letter winner from 2000-03; co-Captain of the 2003 team; top 10 in career winning percentage. Brown is a full-time producer at ESPN.

Rob Perry (Eastern Connecticut State University)
Former outfielder for ECSU, named to the 2011 1st Team All New-England team, assistant coach for Swanson’s 13-year-old summer travel team, the CT Junior Tides.

Chris Cannata (Eastern Connecticut State University)
Former catcher at ECSU, Chris played four years on the varsity team. He will work primarily with catchers and hitters with the 2011-12 Swanson indoor programs, and join the CT Tides coaching staff in the summer of 2012.

Alex Sabia (UCONN)
Alex is licensed by the State of Connecticut to practice as a Certified Athletic Trainer, and is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He is employed by Select Medical Physical Therapy located in Southington, Connecticut.

The former Connecticut head baseball coach currently serves as head of the university’s football team alumni affairs. A featured SPBI guest speaker, Andy participates in Swanson’s coaches clinics.
